Melanie Ginoza

Mrs. Ginoza grew up in the beautiful town of Durango, Colorado. She discovered the Northwest when she came to Western Washington University to complete her bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 2005. After working as a graphic designer in Los Angeles, she felt God leading her in a new direction, working with children.

“I went back to school to receive a master’s degree in early childhood education through Walden University. While I still enjoy art, I have enjoyed incorporating my creativity into my teaching. Over the years we have lived in a variety of places from Yakima, Washington, to Augusta, Maine, but we finally settled in my favorite city, Bellingham. After staying home for three years to raise my two boys, I started teaching at Evergreen Christian in 2015.

I love teaching and watching children learn and grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Working with children brings so much enjoyment to my day and I truly feel blessed to have the opportunity to work at BCS. I hope to inspire children to love each other and themselves as God does.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband, Jeremy, my sons, Kenan and Lowen, and dog, Tinley. We enjoy exploring the Northwest, as well as visiting family and friends in Colorado, California, Hawaii and Maine. I also love going to the gym, hiking, biking, painting, drawing and doing home remodeling projects. We attend Lettered Streets Covenant Church in Bellingham.”

Melanie is a team teacher in the first/second multi-age class.
