Tracie Lease

Mrs. Lease teaches PE.

Tracie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking nutritious meals, finding that perfect recipe, exercising and especially long distance running. “Running in the Lord’s creation is my favorite time to worship and give thanks to Him.” She also enjoys participating in Bible Studies and has been leading groups, including Bible Study Fellowship, for more than fifteen years. She and her husband Chris have five children that range in age from middle school to young adult. They have had their kids at BCS for more than ten years and love the staff, students and parents at the school like family.

Her favorite verses in the Bible are found in Isaiah 40. “I love these verses because they talk about how great our God is and all He has done. The chapter ends with verse 31 saying, ‘But those that hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.’ This encourages me to know that God is good and gives strength to His people!”

She graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She began her career teaching first and second grades in Spokane and Sedro Woolley before she took a break to raise her children. She was a substitute teacher for two years before teaching at BCS.
