Josh Ausfahl

Joshua graduated from Cedarville University in 1998 with a B.A. in Christian Education/Youth and Mathematics. He then served as the Youth Pastor of First Baptist Church of University Place from 1999-2001 while working on his Master of Divinity at Northwest Baptist Seminary. After completing his M. Div. in 2001, Joshua taught Bible, Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics and PE at Tacoma Baptist High School until 2004 while raising support with his family to go to South Africa as missionaries with ABWE. For 12 years in the cities of Durban and Richards Bay, Joshua assisted young churches develop their youth ministries. Then God led a supporting church, Baker Creek Bible Church, to pursue him as for the position of their lead pastor. In September 2016, Joshua took that position where he currently serves. He has been married to his wife, Heidi for 20 years. They have three children: Josiah (BCS ’18), Ezra (BCS ’21), and Micah (BCS ’24).
