Teaching in the preschool classroom has been lots of fun. I love the children’s smiles and hugs; their imaginative play and creative ideas! I’ve been actively involved with and blessed by the ECS family for many years.
I am a graduate of Lynden Christian High School and received my elementary ed./language arts degree from Calvin College. I taught for six years in elementary classrooms in Nashville, Tennessee before taking a hiatus to stay home after our first son was born. My husband, Keith, is also an LC and Calvin graduate. After four years in Michigan and nine years in Tennessee, we finally made it back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Our two boys, Sam and Jack, are currently in college. I love spending time with my family! I also enjoy daily hikes with our dog Felix, boating, traveling, and antiquing. We attend Mosaic Church in Bellingham and love being part of a church community focused on ‘being Jesus’ to those around us.
I feel very privileged to spend each school day morning with preschoolers!
‘…And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ…’ Ephesians 3:17-18
