Teaching in the preschool classroom is so much fun! I love the children’s smiles and hugs; also their imaginative play, creative ideas, laughter, ah-ha moments, and honest emotions. I’ve been so blessed by my interactions with preschoolers for over a decade!
I love spending time with my family! My husband Keith and I have been married for over 30 years and have two sons, Samuel and Jack. I also enjoy daily hikes with our dog Felix, boating, traveling, children’s books, and antiquing. We attend Mosaic Church in Bellingham and love being part of a church community focused on ‘being Jesus’ to those around us.
I am a graduate of Lynden Christian High School and received my elementary education / language arts degree from Calvin College. I taught for six years in elementary classrooms in Nashville, Tennessee before taking a hiatus to stay home after our first son was born. After four years in Michigan and nine years in Tennessee, we finally made it back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
I feel very privileged to engage with children and their parents each day!
‘…And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ…’
