“I am so blessed to be on staff here at Bellingham Christian School. I was fortunate to attended BCS as a student from K-8th grade. I went to Squalicum High School and took a year off to attend YWAM Kona for a Bible school experience where I felt called to become a teacher. When I returned, I went to and graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in elementary and special education. Throughout college I had many opportunities working with children in various ministries and early childhood environments, including a starting out my teaching career as a kindergarten teaching in Pullman, WA.

I am now in my third year of teaching and I am so excited to continue to wholeheartedly share in the BCS mission statement: to provide high quality learning experiences and to serve our families as we promote authentic Christian character with our students so that they impact the world for Christ today and in the future. I live in Bellingham with my husband, Jared, who also attended BCS as a student. When we have free time, you will find us out on hikes and walks around this area. We love to camp and be outdoors as much as possible. I love spending time with my family and friends and enjoy drinking coffee, tea and anything to do with dogs!

My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 143:8- “Let the morning bring word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you, I entrust my life.”
