Amanda Radtke

Amanda feels so blessed to be on staff here at Bellingham Christian School. She was so fortunate to attend BCS as a student from K-8th grade. She then graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in elementary and special education and started teaching in 2018. Throughout college she had many opportunities working with children in various ministries and early childhood environments, including starting out her teaching career as a kindergarten teacher in Pullman, WA.  She is so excited to continue to wholeheartedly share in the BCS mission statement: to provide high quality learning experiences and to serve our families as we promote authentic Christian character with our students so that they impact the world for Christ today and in the future.

Amanda and her husband Jared, who also attended BCS as a student, have been married since 2019 and live in Bellingham. When they have free time, you will find them out on hikes and walks. They love to camp and to be outdoors as much as possible. She loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys gardening, biking, and buying way too many plants!

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 143:8 – “Let the morning bring word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”
