Today our Preschool class went on a field trip to Dancing for Joy. We had such fun! We moved our bodies through an obstacle course, and held first and second dance positions on “lily pads”. We twirled with ribbons to beautiful music and swayed with stuffed animals. Our dance leader, Miss Amanda, taught us a few individual dance steps and then showed us how to string them together. By the end of our session, the whole class performed a short dance for their parents. Wow!
All year we have seen that God made the heavens and the earth and He made us, too. Today was a great opportunity for the children to express their thanks to Him through dance for the bodies He has given us.
