Mrs. Schmidt likes riding horses, gardening, reading and cooking. She and her husband own a small farm in north Bellingham where they live with their two children (both BCS graduates), four cats, two horses, misc chickens and ducks. They are foster parents as well.
Her favorite verse is Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
“Ever since my college days I have striven to know God’s will for my life. He has encouraged me with this verse to seek His truth and spend my time serving Him.”
