Andy Lewis

Mr. Lewis teaches teaches 5/6th grades.

He enjoys music, playing with his children and sports.  He coaches basketball for BCS Middle School and plays in a band. He enjoys technology and encouraging his students to try new things. His wife, Sarah, and he have four lovely children, all of whom are students at BCS. He has been teaching at BCS since 2005, both in middle school and fifth grade.

His favorite verse is Psalm 19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

“I strive for this, and fall short, but it’s still where I want to be. Also, Luke 15:11-32 is the story of the Prodigal Son and it moves me almost every time I read it. The depth of God’s love for me, for us, for anyone no matter what, is so unfathomable and that story really speaks to me as I look at my own kids from the perspective of a father. Then I realize I am the child that goes the wrong way… and God loves me the whole time,” explained Mr. Lewis.

Andy graduated from WWU with a BA in Geography/Social Studies and has a Post-Bac in K-8 Education.
